Bloody Vintage
Bloody Vintage is a short horror film, about Amy Sinclaire, a reporter and wine critic, who goes to visit La Sange Winery, in search of information about a legendary and mysterious wine called “Bloodline Vintage”. She meets the bizarre, and rather standoffish, Edouard, the Head Sommelier of La Sange, who tours her around the winery. Odd things start to happen when Amy wanders into a room she shouldn’t be in, and she sees something that she cannot explain. Finally, Amy gets to meet the winery’s owner Gregoire Dracule, whom she interviews over a glass of the elusive Bloodline Vintage. But there is something definitely off about this place… Maybe there’s something in the wine?
Filming of this project is aiming for mid-September. 2-3 day shoot. Exact dates are TBD.
Deadline to submit is August 31st.
This is a non-paid job, food will be provided, any expenses will be reimbursed.

Characters
Gregoire Dracule
Male, 35-50 yrs.
Gregoire is a handsome, charming, confident, and well spoken man. The owner of La Sange winery. He is also a 600 year old vampire.
Amy Sinclaire
Female, 25-40 yrs.
Amy is a curious reporter and wine critic. The best part of her job is tasting the wine, sometimes a little too much. She’s also a blood donor… Imagine that.
Edouard
Male, 35-55 yrs.
Edouard is a European sommelier. He is snooty, standoffish, and has very little patience. A bit of an oddball in every sense of the word.
